Bandits acquire Colsey

Buffalo Bandits News Release
Buffalo, N.Y. (March 22, 2004) -- Buffalo Bandits General Manager Kurt Silcott announced today that the team has acquired Roy Colsey from the Anaheim Storm in exchange for Ryan Powell. As is club policy, terms of the deal were undisclosed.
"All year we've been lacking a big right-handed outside shot," said Silcott. "We've got a bunch of talented offensive righties but bringing Roy in gives us that big shot that should open up the middle for us. We'll be talking to Roy very soon about his role with this team. Hopefully he can come in, find his niche and help us down the stretch in the playoffs."
A nine-year NLL veteran, Colsey scored 11 goals and nine assists for Anaheim in eight games this season. In 101 career games, he has scored 214 goals and 167 assists for 381 points. This is Colsey's second tour of duty with the Bandits. He appeared in six games during the 2002 season scoring 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points.
The Buffalo Bandits take on the Toronto Rock at the HSBC Arena on Saturday, March 27, at 7:30 PM. Ticket packages are available by calling the Buffalo Bandits Ticket Office at 1-888-467-2273, or fans can purchase packages at the HSBC Arena Box Office or any Tickets.com locations.
