Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced on Wednesday that the team has signed defenseman Dan Ball and two non-roster free-agent defensemen, marking the organization's first contracts of the NLL's signing period.
Ball appeared in 17 games with the Mammoth in his first season with the team in 2014, scoring four goals and four assists while forcing eight turnovers.
Colin Boucher, at 6-foot-5-inches and 235 pounds, was on the Bandits' practice squad last season. Maryland native Michael Simon boasts a 6-foot-3-inch frame and has played professionally.
"Dillon Ward had a great rookie campaign for us," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. "One of our off-season priorities is to beef up the defense in front of him."
