
Bal Scores Hat Trick in Warriors' 14-8 Loss to Mammoth

VANCOUVER, BC - The Vancouver Warriors fell to the Colorado Mammoth 14-8 at Rogers Arena.
The Warriors kept it close in the first quarter, but Colorado was up 9-3 at the half and 12-5 after three quarters and they never looked back. Tyson Kirkness scored his first NLL goal and Keegan Bal had a hat trick and four assists to lead the Warriors with seven points, making it back-to-back games he's had hat tricks. Adam Charalambides finished the night with a goal and four assists. Other scorers for Vancouver on the evening were New Westminster's Kevin Crowley as well as Ryan Martel and Riley Loewen who all chipped in one goal each.
Aden Walsh stopped five of 11 shote he faced, and Aaron Bold turned aside five of 13 shots.
The Warriors move to 2-5 on the season and will head to Georgia for a game next Friday night against the Georgia Swarm at Gas South Arena. Opening faceoff will go at 4:30 PM.
