ROSTER UPDATE:
RW Dan Sexton was reassigned to the Condors from San Antonio (AHL) by Anaheim today... Condors released F Sal Peralta today... RW Erick Lizon is on the 3-IR and is eligible to be activated on Saturday... D Pierre-Luc Lessard is on the 7-IR and is eligible to be activated on Oct. 21... G Jean-Philippe Levasseur was reassigned by Anaheim from Bakersfield to Laredo (CHL).
THE MATCHUP:
The Condors and Reign meet up for the first game of the 2009-10 season for both clubs. Last year the two teams met 11 times, with Bakersfield holding a 4-4-3 record, including 3-1-2 on home ice. This season they will play 13 times, the most against any opponent in the league. Bakersfield went 2-0-0 in the preseason, taking victories in both games they played against the Stockton Thunder.
PROMOTIONAL NOTES:
Everyone in the house tonight will get a Condors magnet schedule. The Ducks promo crew, Power Play girls and mascot Wild Wing will set up on the Rabobank Arena Plaza for a pregame party, from 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday night Bakersfield will once again host the Reign, and the first 2,000 kids 12 & under will get a Baby Cal Paint-Your-Own-Bobblehead. Additionally, Ogie, the World's Fastest Golfer, will be appearing, attempting to set the world record for most golf balls hit in a 30-second span.

Individual regular season game tickets went on sale today, and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 1-800-745-3000, online at Bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location. Season tickets, mini-plans and group outings are available at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue or by calling 324-PUCK (7825).
