
Baier Returns from Loan to Americans

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that defenseman Eric Baier has been returned from his loan to the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans.
Baier, 28, signed a Professional Try-Out Agreement with Rochester on Dec. 6, and skated in two games for the Americans, recording two penalty minues. Orlando's captain has posted 10 points (2g-8a) and 10 penalty minutes in 19 games with Orlando this season. The North Kingstown, R.I. native has played in 195 games with the Solar Bears, logging 89 points (28g-61a) and 69 penalty minutes.
The Solar Bears continue their fifth season of ECHL hockey when they battle the Wheeling Nailers on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7:05 p.m. at WesBanco Arena.
