Bahamas beats Bamboo Shack Aces

December 17, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Bahama Pro Show News Release

Nassau, Bahamas. The ABA Bahama All Pro Show opened the 2008 season with a convincing victory over the Bamboo Shack Aces, 121-99 and now set their sights on a visit to the mainland with a game against the Knoxville Thunderbolts.

"We were very excited about getting started. We knew we had a good team, but game action is really needed to know how good we are and what improvements we need," stated team owner Ricardo Smith. "We'll have many of the regular ABA teams coming here to play shortly - and of course, we're on the road in the US. We'll know more after a couple of those games."

Kevin Spicer led the team with 26 points, Zachary Logan had 25 and Dajan Smith added 17. The game was played at Loyola Hall Gladstone near Nassau.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
