B-Sens Sign Forward Justin Donati

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed forward Justin Donati to a professional try-out contract.

Donati, 23, has appeared in 34 games with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL, recording 19 goals and 37 assists for 56 points. Donati is ranked first overall in scoring on the Jackals and fifth overall in scoring in the ECHL.

The Oakville, Ontario native spent the 2008-09 season with the University of Prince Edward Island where he recorded 18 goals and 38 assists in 27 games played.

Donati appeared in one game with the Portland Pirates this season, making his American Hockey League debut in the Pirates' 6-1 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Nov. 11. He went on to record an assist and was a plus-one in the match.

The Binghamton Senators see action again tonight as they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to take on the North Division's Amerks at 5:05 p.m.
