Binghamton Senators News Release

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators traveled to Blue Cross Arena for a Sunday evening tilt versus the Amerks. The only East Division team in action, the B-Sens looked to gain some ground in the standings but failed to do so.

Rochester's Jamie Johnson led the charge for Rochester, scoring a natural hat trick, leading his Americans to a 6-1 victory over Binghamton. With the win, the Amerks were able to halt a season high five game winless streak.

Jason Bailey recorded the lone Binghamton goal, with the assist going to Ryan Keller. Chris Holt received the nod in goal, stopping 18 of 23 shots faced in the match.

Up next the Binghamton Senators host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Friday, Jan. 15 at 7:05 p.m.
