B-Sens Recall Goaltender Andy Chiodo From Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled goaltender Andy Chiodo from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

In 12 games with the Jackals, Chiodo has posted a record of 7-3-1, 2.90 goals-against average and.907 save percentage.

The Toronto native has appeared in 20 games this season with the B-Sens, posting a 5-13-0 record, 3.28 goals-against average and.901 save percentage.

Currently in his seventh professional season, Chiodo was selected in the seventh round (199th overall) by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has appeared in eight NHL games with Pittsburgh, posting a 3-4-1 record, 3.46 goals-against average and.892 save percentage.

The B-Sens are back on home ice Wednesday, March 17 as they host the Hershey Bears at 7:05 p.m. The B-Sens will be wearing special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, sponsored by McGirk's Irish Pub, which will be auctioned off immediately following the game.
