
Aviators JJ Trujillo selected to join Team USA

The Coastal Bend Aviators of the Central Baseball League announced this afternoon that RHP JJ Trujillo has been selected to the 24-man roster to represent the United States at the 2005 World Cup in The Netherlands. In 2005, Trujillo lead the Central Baseball League in strikeouts by recording 132 strikeouts in 129.2 innings of work while also tossing (3) complete games and recording (2) shutouts.
"This is a very prestigious and well deserved honor for Mr. Trujillo and we look forward to watching him represent the United States of America and the Coastal Bend Aviators while participating for Team USA in the Netherlands." Commented Aviators General Manager Shane Tritz
