ROBSTOWN, Texas -The Coastal Bend Aviators got swept at home by the Pensacola Pelicans four games in a row.

Alex Dutka had another rough outing as a starting pitcher. Dutka was only able to complete three innings, surrendering six hits and seven earned runs. Marc Acierno, Jorge Huerta, and Jose Nieto pitched the remaining six innings giving up only two runs, of which one was earned.

Matt Mann returned to the Aviator lineup after serving a three game suspension. He immediately made his presence known with a three run homerun in the third. Bert Aguilar's solo homer in the fourth cut the Pelican's lead in half, 8-4. Edwin Maldonado's sac fly scored Kevin Henry from third in the sixth inning. Henry led off the eighth with a line drive homerun to left field. The solo shot trimmed the lead to three runs, making the score 9-6 going into the ninth. The Aviators brought the tying run to the plate with two runners on, but came up empty as the comeback fell short.

The Coastal Bend will host the Shreveport Sports beginning a three game series on Monday night.
