Aviators come from behind to win

Coastal Bend Aviators News Release


ROBSTOWN, TEXAS – The Coastal Bend Aviators (2-1) rallied from a four run deficit to over take the Edinburg Roadrunners (1-2) 6-5.

Aaron Sisk hit his 3rd homerun of the season in the top of the second inning to make the score 1-0.

In the bottom half of the 7th inning the Aviators scored three runs, including an RBI triple by Jason Edmonds.

Down by a run in the eighth inning, Jack Joffrion hit a two run homerun over the left field wall to put the Aviators up 6-5.

Shawn Morgan (1-0) got the win in relief for the Aviators. James Lira pitched the ninth inning and picked up the save for the Aviators.

Luis Ramirez (0-1) took the loss in relief for Edinburg.
