Aviators add Turkish Sweeper

Edmonton Aviators News Release
Edmonton, June 3, 2004 â Today, the Edmonton Aviators Soccer Club announced that Turkish sweeper Ibrahim Mollaibrahimagaoglu's league paperwork has cleared and he is available for tonight's game with the Seattle Sounders.
Mollaibrahimagaoglu, affectionately known as Ebo (ee-bo), began practicing with the Aviators Men a week ago. His exceptional skill has impressed the coaching staff who are convinced he will add depth to the Aviators' already strong defence.
Ercenk Hasan Aksimsek, another Turkish player who arrived last week, has been released by the Aviators. Aksimsek was expected to provide offensive flair to the Aviators' front line but failed to impress in training.
The Aviators Men and Women both play Thursday, June 3rd at Commonwealth Stadium against the Seattle Sounders Men and Women respectively (6pm and 8:30pm MST).
