
Austin Toros to Host Annual Guns vs Hoses Game

Austin, TX February 20, 2013 - The Austin Toros will host their annual Guns vs. Hoses charity basketball game this Sunday, February 24th before the team faces the Iowa Energy at Cedar Park Center.
Police Officers and Firemen from across Central Texas will take park in this goodwill matchup benefitting Special Olympics, Explorer Post 370 and the Austin Firefighters Outreach Fund. Former San Antonio Spurs guard James Silas and Spurs Assistant General Manager Scott Layden will act as honorary coaches for the game. Silas' No. 13 jersey was the first to be retired in Spurs history.
The Guns vs. Hoses game tips off at 12:15pm. Immediately following, the Austin Toros will take on the Iowa Energy starting at 3:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online at austintoros.com and ticketmaster.com, by calling the Austin Toros office at (512) 236-8333 or at the Cedar Park Center box office.
