
Aucoin Signs with Mighty Ducks

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim signed free agent center Keith Aucoin to a one-year contract on Friday.
Aucoin, 24, appeared in 78 games with Providence of the AHL last season, leading the club in scoring with 74 points on 25 goals and 48 assists. The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder split the 2001-2002 season between Lowell of the AHL and B.C. of the UHL and had a combined 29 goals and 45 assists in 74 games.
A native of Waltham, Massachusetts, Aucoin played four seasons at Norwich University, where he established school records for most goals (114), assists (124) and points (238) in 116 career Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association games.
Aucoin is expected to start the 2003-2004 season with Anaheim's AHL affiliate in Cincinnati.
