Owen Sound Attack News Release


In a rematch of the first round of the playoffs last year, the Owen Sound Attack skated to a 5-2 win over the visiting Kitchener Rangers.

Zach McCullough, Bobby Sanguinetti, Scott Tregunna, Thomas Stajan (first OHL goal), and Trevor Lewis all scored for the Attack.

Neil Conway stopped 20 of 22 shots for his first win of the young season.

Owen Sound's record improves to 3 wins, 1 loss, and 1 shootout loss. They are tied for 2nd in the Western Conference with the Guelph Storm with 7 points, just 1 point behind the Plymouth Whalers who will be at the Bayshore next weekend.

Upcoming Games

Thursday, October 5 at 7:30pm in Toronto against the St. Michael's Majors. Fans can listen to the game live on 560 CFOS or on the internet at www.attackhockey.com. The game will not be broadcast on Rogers Cable.

Saturday, October 7 at 7:30pm the Attack will host the Plymouth Whalers. It is the first Peninsula Ford Hockey Hall of Fame game of the season. It will be broadcast live on Rogers Cable Channel 53.

Monday, October 9 at 2pm the Attack will host the Erie Otters. The special Thanksgiving Day matinee is sponsored by Pepsi. It will be broadcast live on Rogers Cable Channel 53.
