Jones led all Atlanta farmhands with 100 RBI last season. He was named Double-A Mississippi's Player of the Year and hit .300 in 44 games with Richmond. He made his MLB debut last September after helping the R-Braves to the Governors' Cup title.
Jones and Reyes were optioned to Richmond from the big league roster. Bueno, Campillo, and Drese were re-assigned as non-roster invitees. They join pitchers Charlie Morton, Phil Stockman, Zach Schreiber, and Matt DeSalvo as players sent from the big league camp to the Richmond roster. Minor league spring training concludes Sunday and the 2008 R-Braves are scheduled to report to Richmond April 1.
