ATLANTA (August 21, 2015) - The Atlanta Dream has resigned veteran forward DeLisha Milton-Jones for the rest of the 2015 season.
Entering Friday's game at New York, Milton-Jones sits just three games (493) shy of tying
Tina Thompson (496) for the most games played by a player in WNBA history.
Milton-Jones ranks 10th all-time among WNBA career leaders with 5,559 points over her 17-year tenure in the league.
This year she has seen action in 12 games for Atlanta after recovering from an Achilles injury suffered late last season. She tallied a season-best 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting at Tulsa on August 9.

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream is in its eighth season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
The Dream plays their home games at Philips Arena. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs in each of the past six seasons, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
