
ATL UTD 2 Defender Daniel Russo to Miss Rest of 2024 Season Following ACL Injury

ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced that defender Daniel Russo sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee and has been placed on the season-ending injury list.
Russo signed with ATL UTD 2 on December 22, 2023, after spending the past four years at Notre Dame University. He made his ATL UTD 2 debut as a substitute in the club's season opener against Orlando City B and has played 135 minutes across two matches, logging his first professional assist against Carolina Core FC in a 4-0 win March 24.
ATL UTD 2 (1-1-0, 3 points) returns to action Monday, April 15, when it hosts Philadelphia Union II at Fifth Third Stadium (7:30 p.m., MLSNEXTPro.com, Soccer Down Here).
