April 3, 2015 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Orangeville A's News Release
ORANGEVILLE, On.- The Brampton A's defeated the Windsor Express 119-111 in game four of the Central Division Finals. The A's are now one victory away from heading to the NBL Canada Finals, as they lead the series 3-1.
The first half was back and forth between the two teams as there were seven lead changes and five occasions of a tied score. Despite being held to 41 percent shooting from the field, the A's stayed within a margin of attack at the half.
Akeem Scott led all scorers at the break with 16 points, while Zane Johnson added 11 points.
The second half came down to rebounds and second chance opportunities. Both teams were evenly matched on offence, but the A's sealed the deal with big shots from long distance in the final minutes.
Z. Johnson and Akeem Ellis led the A's with 22 points apiece, while Cavell Johnson recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Three other A's finished the game in double-figures.
The A's will travel to Windsor on Tuesday for game five of the best-of seven series. A live stream will be available via www.bramptonas.ca.
