A's Fall as Lightning Force Game 5

March 15, 2015 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Orangeville A's News Release

LONDON, On.- The Brampton A's fell 106-98 to the London Lightning in a hard fought battle Sunday afternoon.

Brampton struggled in the first half as they faced a tough and intense London team. The A's were held to an unfavourable shooting percentage and were outrebounded.

Zane Johnson led the A's at the half with eight points, while Cavell Johnson added seven.

Both teams got testy and aggressive in the third quarter. The momentum switched from London to Brampton toward the end of the third, as the A's went on a run that led to a one point advantage atop the final stint. The A's attacked the hoop and made key shots from long distance. Unfortunately the A's caught fire too late to overthrow the Lightning.

Akeem Scott, Akeem Ellis, and C. Johnson registered 16 points apiece to lead the A's.

The final game of the series is set for Saturday, March 21st at the Powerade Centre. Tipoff will be at 7pm. This is a must win for Brampton as the Central Division Finals are on the line. For tickets, contact tickets@bramptonas.ca.
