Artest, GreenHawks Part Ways

ROCKVILLE, MD.The Maryland GreenHawks announced today that Daniel Artest has been released from his contract.
The 6'5 290lbs power forward and brother of Los Angeles Lakers Forward Ron Artest, was averaging 8.0 ppg and 5.6 rpg on the season.
"We thank Daniel for his contributions to the GreenHawks organization both on the court and in the community,"said GreenHawks General Manager Adam Dantus. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
The GreenHawks will host the Quebec Kebs on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 at Wootton High School in Rockville, MD at 7PM.
