Arlington Renegades News Release

ARLINGTON, Texas - The Arlington Renegades have launched a Community Ticket Program that will benefit local organizations during the 2024 XFL season and beyond. In launching the initiative, the team announced a partnership with NBA veteran and Reform Ventures founder Thaddeus Young as an inaugural member of the program.

The Community Ticket Program provides local businesses the opportunity to give back to their communities and non-profit organizations that serve youth, educational initiatives, and life-changing resources where they work and live. Businesses that join the program will purchase game tickets and unique fan experiences, and the Renegades will manage those tickets by donating them to local organizations on behalf of their partners.

"The Renegades are proud to announce the launch of our Community Ticket Program," said Charles Johnson, Vice President of Business and Event Operations. "The partnership with Reform Ventures will help us remain a strong presence in the community, and we look forward to partnering with other entities that want to make an impact in their area."

The Community Ticket Program is a tiered-pricing initiative that consists of three levels featuring different quantities of tickets and benefits.

Young, 35, is the founder of Reform Ventures, a private investment fund. The Dallas-Fort Worth area resident has played for seven NBA teams over a 16-year professional career, and currently plays for the Toronto Raptors. As part of this partnership, the Renegades will manage the distribution of tickets and experiences to local organizations on behalf of Reform Ventures.

"This is the perfect opportunity for Reform Ventures to support the Arlington Renegades and the local community," Young said. "Our goal is to lend a helping hand, and this partnership allows us to show that we really care by providing entertainment opportunities to those in need."

Businesses interested in joining the program, as well as community organizations interested in becoming a beneficiary of the program, can contact the Renegades by email (tickets@xflrenegades.com) or by phone (469-966-6468). Organizations that partner with the Renegades are encouraged to consult their tax and accounting advisors for potential tax benefits associated with ticket donations.
