April 28, 2010 - North American Soccer League (NASL)
Fort Lauderdale Strikers News Release

Miami, April 28, 2010 - Miami FC announced today that former USA U-17 and U-20 standout Bryan Arguez will be returning from his loan to sister-club Estoril-Praia, effective immediately. The midfielder, who has been a member of the USA Men's National Team youth system since 2005, will be available for the Blues in the upcoming match against the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies on May 1. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium.

"Bryan has grown up playing right here in Miami, in our back yard. Our head coach Victor Pastora coached him in his youth club days so he was on our radar screen even before he considered turning pro," Miami FC general manager Luiz Muzzi said. "Now he's back home and ready to prove that he has a long and successful career in front of him and we are very happy to have him."

Arguez has made 44 appearances in five years as a part of the U.S. Soccer youth system and participated in the FIFA 2009 U-20 World Cup in Egypt, scoring a goal for the Americans in their victory over Cameroon.

He was drafted by D.C. United in the first round of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft and then went on to play for Hertha Berlin in the German Bundesliga, before signing with Traffic and Miami FC at the beginning of 2010.

The team also added depth with the return of another Traffic player, defender Daniel Villegas.

Villegas, 19, was born in Miami and signed with Traffic Sports in mid-2009. Villegas has recently spent time at Traffic's academy in Brazil, where he played with Desportivo Brasil, another member of Traffic's network of clubs. Before signing with Traffic, Villegas played for Miami FC Kendall's USSF Developmental Academy team, where the young defender was named a part of the Developmental Academy National Starting XI in the U-18 category.
