
ArenaBowl XX MVP D'Orazio To Visit Conquest Game This Saturday

Albany, N.Y. - The Albany Conquest of arenafootball2 announced today that Chicago Rush quarterback Matt D'Orazio will take part in the ceremonial coin toss prior to the game against the Louisville Fire on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 7:00pm.
D'Orazio led the Chicago Rush to their first Arena Football League championship this past Sunday in a 69-61 victory at Arena Bowl XX in Las Vegas. He was named the Offensive Player of the Game as he completed 26-of-36 passes for 250 yards with six touchdowns. The 29-year-old ranked third in the AFL with a 123.4 passer rating and 10th in total offense with 3,708 yards during the 2006 regular season.
He previously played for Albany Conquest head coach Pete Costanza as a member of the Columbus Destroyers (AFL) and also suited up for the af2's Rochester Brigade back in 2002.
The Albany Conquest present Race Day at Pepsi Arena this Saturday. Fans will have the chance to win great NASCAR prizes, including tickets to races in New Hampshire and at Watkins Glenn. The Peaches Pit-Stop Block Party presented by 94.5/93.7 The Bone will kick off at 5:30pm featuring live music from the Lone Peaches, food, games, modified stock cars along with drivers from Albany-Saratoga Speedway and the Saratoga Racing Museum.
