FIRE HEADS EAST... After back to back home games the Fire will head to the Northeast for a divisional showdown with the Albany Conquest Saturday night. The Fire defeated Albany 51-38 on May 20 in Freedom Hall. Fire fans can listen to the game on 1080-AM or louisvillefirefootball.com. FIRE TAKES DOWN #1... The Fire offense was unstoppable on last Saturday again Spokane racking up 79 points on the way to a 79-69 victory over the Shock. Fire QB Brett Dietz was responsible for 10 of the 11 touchdowns the Fire scored. Dietz was named af2 Schutt Offensive Player of the Week by the league yesterday for his performance against the Shock.

NEXT HOME GAME... The Fire will be on the road for the next two weekends and have a bye Fourth of July weekend before returning home on July 8 for an ArenaCup rematch against the Memphis Xplorers at 7:00 in Freedom Hall. The first 500 fans will receive a bobblehead doll of Tony Cruise, WHAS 840 morning host. (A picture of the bobblehead can be seen at louisvillefirefootball.com.) The Indianapolis Colts will also be on hand with the Colts Caravan and the Colts cheerleaders will perform at halftime. Hwang's Martial Arts performance team will be putting on their exciting performance at halftime as well. It's not to late to reserve your group outing for the July 8 or July 15 home games.

FIRE, POLICE, EMS APPRECIATION NIGHT... The July 8 home game will also be Fire, Police and EMS appreciation night. All fire, police & EMS can show their badge at the Freedom Hall box office for buy one get one free tickets.

LATIN SUMMER FEST... The Latin Summer Fest will take place this weekend (Fri.-Sun.) at Waterfront Park and the Wildfires will be there Friday and Saturday working the dunking booth.

FIRE BREAKS INTO COACHES POLL... Following last weekend's victory the Fire has moved back into the af2 coaches poll ranked 10th. The top 12 is as follows:
