
Arena Football Comes to Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Power News Release
The Arena Football League announced in Pittsburgh, and at Arena Bowl XXIII, the addition of its newest franchise, The Pittsburgh Power.
The Power is slated to play its 8 game home season at newly built Consol Energy Center starting in April 2011.
Upon the announcement, Principle Owner and General Manager Matt Shaner, from Shaner Investments remarked "We are very excited to bring this exciting and fan friendly brand of professional Football to the community. Pittsburgh has a tradition of great fan support for all its teams, and we are confident the city will embrace what will be an entertaining team in this great arena."
