Milwaukee Mustangs News Release
The potential examination of long term structural improvement options of the Arena Football League affirms the strength, structure and business model of arenafootball2. Milwaukee Iron Owner and Managing Partner Drew Vallozzi confirms it is the main reason the Iron ownership group opted for an af2 franchise in the first place.
"The af2 business model made more sense for us as an ownership group and we decided early on the Milwaukee Iron would be a much better fit as an af2 franchise. With the current AFL situation, we made the right decision. We're excited about the 2009 af2 season and look forward to providing the great city of Milwaukee with high-quality, family entertainment for many years to come." said Vallozzi.
The Milwaukee Iron open the regular season on Friday, March 27, 2009 against the Iowa Barnstormers at the Bradley Center. Season tickets are on sale right now.
