Corvallis Knights News Release
Your WCL West champion Corvallis Knights beat the Cowlitz Black Bears last night 2-0 to wrap the regular season. With the win, Corvallis finished 37-17, eliminated Cowlitz and set up a rematch with Bend (29-25) in the WCL West Divisional Series. The Knights will play the Elks in the best-of-three West Divisional Series for a fourth consecutive summer. Game one is this Friday night at Vince Genna Stadium in Bend. Game time is 6:35 pm.
Make plans now to attend game two in Corvallis at Goss Stadium on Saturday, August 13th. Gates open at 6 pm. First pitch is 6:40 pm. GA tickets are $5 and reserved seats are $10. Order your tickets, now. You can purchase playoff tickets at our downtown office on 4th and Madison today from 10 am to 5 pm or tomorrow from 8:30 am to noon or at the Goss ticket booth on Saturday evening. If game three is necessary, it will be played at Goss Stadium on Sunday, August 14th (start time 6:40 pm).
