
Arcuri Helps the Bristol Blues Down the Pittsfield

Lorenzo Arcuri had two extra base hits, sparking the Bristol Blues (19-21) to an 8-5 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (15-23) on Thursday at Muzzy Field.
He singled in the third inning, tripled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.
It was a good day at the plate for the Pittsfield Suns' Al Zachary. Zachary went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Adam Goss got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Austin Hansen (0-3) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out seven.
Tyler Roberts, Arcuri and Frankie Gregoire helped lead the Bristol Blues. They combined for eight hits and three RBIs.
