
Antony Siaha and Chase Boone Earn USL Championship Team of the Week Honors

SEASIDE, Calif. - The Crisp and Kelp's shutout victory over the defending USL Championship Title Winners Orange County SC in Irvine, California featured a debut clean sheet from goalkeeper Antony Siaha and a sixth goal on the year for Chase Boone. As a result, Siaha and Boone have been named to USL Championship's Team of the Week for Week 18.
Boone's third top-11 performance of the season featured the opening goal in the 36th minute of the match, but his numbers defensively sealed the deal. In addition to winning 14 of 18 duels on the night, Boone recorded two tackles, two clearances, two interceptions and won two fouls without conceding any for the Union on the night.
In his professional debut in between the sticks for Monterey Bay, Siaha's night was highlighted by his clean sheet performance against an attack that featured one of the league's leading goal scorers. In total, Siaha recorded two saves and added two clearances in the match.

Monterey Bay F.C. plays its next two matches at home in the comfort of Cardinale Stadium. First up, Eastern Conference expansion side Detroit City FC makes a visit on Saturday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. PT. The following week, another Eastern Conference side, New York Red Bulls II makes the trip to Seaside on Saturday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. PT. Both matches can be streamed live on ESPN+.
