FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Anthem Rugby Carolina dropped its road match against the Miami Sharks on Saturday evening at AutoNation Sports Field, 50-21.
Anthem RC put its first points on the board in the 16th minute with a seven-point try by Te Rangatira Waitokia. Oscar Koller recorded the try assist with a strategic kick caught by Waitokia.
The visitors added another try before halftime through Shneil Singh, and Koller logged a successful conversion kick.
Less than a minute after Miami scored its first try of the second half, Josh Shetler responded with a try of his own to keep the scoreline manageable. Koller scored his second conversion kick of the evening.
NEXT UP: Anthem RC returns home to American Legion Memorial Stadium on Saturday, March 30 at 6:00 p.m. to face Old Glory DC.
