
Anselmini Recalled to AHL Texas

Boise, ID-Steelheads Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham confirmed on Thursday afternoon that defenseman Brandon Anselmini has been recalled by the AHL's Texas Stars. This is Anselmini's second recall to the Stars this season.
Anselmini, 23, returned from his first stint with the Stars on January 6th, playing in Idaho's past six games. In 24 contests with the Steelheads this season, Anselmini has totaled two goals and 12 points. Anselmini collected three assists in nine games in his first recall to Texas from November 27th to January 6th.
Anselmini has been playing with the Steelheads this season while under AHL contract with the Stars.
The Steelheads kick off a five-game road trip at BOK Center on Saturday when they face the Tulsa Oilers. Puck-drop is scheduled for 6:05pm MT, with the game available on 1350 KTIK and ECHLTV.
