Annual Dayton Bombers Summer Hockey School Scheduled For Mid-August

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL announced on Monday the Annual Summer Hockey School will be held at the Kettering Recreation Center August 15-19, 2005. The lead instructor for this year's school will be Bombers head coach and general manager, Don MacAdam.

The school will be open to Mites (6-8 yrs. old), Squirts (9-10 yrs. old), Pee Wee (11-12 yrs. old) and Bantams (13-14 yrs. old), and features two, one-hour sessions on the ice and an off ice session per day.

"The on ice sessions will focus on the fundamentals of the game from skating and shooting to passing and stick handling", said Don MacAdam. "Off ice workouts will deal with conditioning, nutrition and video instruction. It will be a great learning experience for all those involved."

The cost of the school is $275 per skater with a $50 non-refundable processing fee which must accompany the application. Applications are available in the Bombers office at the Ervin J. Nutter Center on the campus of Wright State University, and will also be available at the Kettering Recreation Center in the near future.

Participants who register and pay in full by June 1, 2005 will receive $10 off the cost ($265). Space is limited, so youth hockey players interested in participating in the hockey school are encouraged to sign-up early.
