Angel City Football Club Names Cedars-Sinai as the Club's Official Health Partner

LOS ANGELES - Today, Angel City Football Club (ACFC) announced Cedars-Sinai, a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized, medicine, and research, as the team's Official Health Partner. Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute doctors will also serve as official team doctors when the team takes the pitch in Spring 2022.

As a key component of the partnership, ACFC and Cedars-Sinai will create content specific to health education for women, families, and youth. Starting this year, they will also engage the Los Angeles community with quarterly hospital visits from players and investors and will host 20 free play youth soccer clinics annually beginning in 2022.

Through the Angel City Sponsorship Model, ACFC will further the work being done for women's health education and access to everyone in our community. Additionally, ACFC will publish a dedicated page on the website to house content and provide actionable medical resources. To kick off the partnership and start positively influencing the community, Cedars-Sinai and Angel City will come together with LA84 and Play Equity Fund for their 2021 Play Day event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST on Saturday, August 28 at L.A. Live to facilitate a safe place to play for youth soccer players.
