Angel City FC News Release
LOS ANGELES - Angel City Football Club (ACFC) today announced Core Digital Media (Core Digital), a Los Angeles-based technology company and leading provider of digital solutions to current and aspiring homeowners, as the latest partner of the team.
Core Digital and ACFC share a passion for developing programs focused on uplifting underserved communities. Through the partnership, the companies will leverage the successful Angel City Sponsorship Model to help fund mentorship programs through The Clubhouse Network. This funding will allow The Clubhouse Network to provide creative and safe out-of-school learning opportunities where adult mentors work with multi-cultural at-risk youth to explore their own ideas, develop new skills and build their confidence through the use of technology.
"Core Digital Media has always made supporting our community a priority, which makes this partnership with Angel City Football Club so rewarding, as we work side-by-side to impact the city where our team members work, live and play," said Jeff Hughes, CEO of Core Digital Media. "The work that The Clubhouse Network does in providing both mentorship and digital literacy training is absolutely critical and vitally needed. The impact created through this partnership will pay off for the youth in the program for decades."
Core Digital has helped millions of people save money on a variety of personal finance products and services since 1999. Through its online brands, such as LowerMyBills.com, the company enables consumers to learn about and obtain solutions that help lead to financial freedom.
"Welcoming Core Digital as a team partner is an exciting moment for Angel City as we collectively make an impact on representation in tech - a space in which so many of our investors are involved," said Julie Uhrman, Co-Founder and President of ACFC. "They understand the importance of diversity in the tech industry, and we can't wait to join forces to promote education together."
ACFC's inaugural season will begin in the spring of 2022, in downtown Los Angeles' Banc of California Stadium.
