Andre Hayne Named Masl Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY (December 15, 2017) - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today that Milwaukee Wave forward Andre Hayne has been voted the Week Seven MASL Player of the Week. This is Hayne's first Player of the Week selection and the second for the Milwaukee Wave this season. The MASL Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the MASL teams and MASL fans.
Hayne set the arena soccer world on fire with his bicycle kick goal that tied up the game for the Wave against St. Louis on Friday night. He then followed that up with another goal and an assist the next night as the Wave remain undefeated.
Hayne credits teammate Josh Lemos for setting up his bicycle kick goal that was featured on ESPN Sportscenter's Top 10 last week. When asked about the goal itself, he admitted to not having seen it go in at the time, but admiring it after the game was over in highlights.
The Milwaukee Wave host the St. Louis Ambush this Saturday, December 16 at 8:05 p.m. ET. There are 12 games remaining this weekend. All of them will be broadcast live on MASLtv.
