
Anderson Out, Twisters to Name New Coach at Press Conference

Arkansas Twisters Team President Jack Lankford has announced Gary Anderson has been relieved of his Head Coaching responsibilities effective immediately. The team has called a press conference to announce the new head coach on Monday, May 2 at 5:30pm on the turf at Alltel Arena. The Twisters also announced Andy Haskell has been relieved of his duties as General Manager but will stay with the organization through the end of the season to help in the transitional phase of football operations.
Jack Lankford, Team President commenting on Gary Anderson â "This is one of the hardest decisions, the organization has had to make. What makes it the most difficult is the fact Gary Anderson is such a great person. His community relations presence and his commitment to promoting the Twisters goes without saying. He is truly a class act."
