ODESSA, TX.: The Roughnecks are proud to announce that three-year Odessa Roughneck Wide Receiver Joel Babb has been offered a tryout with the Kansas City Brigade of the Arena Football League. The sleek receiver has wowed fans and opponents in Odessa and around the IFL since 2004 and now has a great opportunity to move on to the next level.
"I have known Joel for a long time and have always been impressed with his performance and the quality of man that he is," stated Roughnecks head coach Chris Williams, "We believe in him and wish him well at the next level!"
PRESS GATHERING: The Odessa Roughnecks would like to invite members of the media to a gathering next Tuesday, March 6th at the offices of Gonzales Chiropractic, the "Official Chiropractor of the Odessa Roughnecks". Their offices are located at the corner of 8th Street and Grant Avenue in downtown Odessa. Food will be served at 1:30 PM along with a brief explanation of the value of chiropractic care and a FREE adjustment for members of the media! Team announcements will follow at 2:00 PM.
