Anchors Outmatch the Bucks

Alexandria, Minn. - The Alexandria Blue Anchors shut down the Waterloo Bucks, winning by a score of 3-1 Friday night.

Aiden Hook put the Anchors on the board first with a solo home run, his first of the season.

Sean Stutzman pitched lights out for the Anchors; he would leave after the sixth with a 1-0 lead and give way to Graylon Brown.

Ben Allen would deliver a big solo homer run in the bottom of the seventh to extend the anchors lead to two runs.

In the bottom of the eighth, Jeremy Hyde added some insurance with a solo shot that would make it 3-0 Alexandria.

Waterloo started to rally in the top of the ninth scoring one run on an RBI single by Kevin Kaczmarski to make it 3-1. Austin Smith would then come in with two outs and strike out Connor McClain for the save.
