Amerks Summer Player Profiles: Jordan Henry

Rochester Americans defenseman Jordan Henry is this week's featured player on Amerks.com in the fourth installment of the team's summer player profiles. Henry, 24, is coming off his most productive season with Rochester in 2009-10, capturing career-highs in all offensive categories in goals (13), assists (18), points (31) and games played (76). The third-year pro finished second among team defensemen in scoring en route to being named the team's Unsung Hero. He also scored a team-high four goals in seven playoff contests this postseason. A native of Milo, Alberta, the 6-foot-2, 198-pound blueliner has compiled 55 points (20+35) and 288 penalty minutes in 194 career games for the Amerks. Henry, who was one of five Florida Panthers prospects tendered a qualifying offer for the 2010-11 season, signed with the NHL club as a free agent on October 6, 2007.
