
Amerks Sign Defenseman Curtis Leonard to ATO

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed defenseman Curtis Leonard to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) contract.
Leonard, 22, recently completed his collegiate career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), recording 10 points (2+8) and 20 penalty minutes this season while serving as a team captain. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Napanee, Ontario, played in 151 career games with RPI over four seasons, recording 43 points (9+34) and 84 penalty minutes.
