Amerks Recall Justin Kea from Elmira

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has recalled forward Justin Kea from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Kea, 20, has appeared in 13 games with Elmira this season, recording eight points (3+5) and 13 penalty minutes. Last season, Kea appeared in one AHL game with the Amerks after completing his junior hockey season with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League, where he recorded 49 points (22+27) and 97 penalty minutes in 58 games. In four seasons with Saginaw, Kea, a native of Woodville, Ontario, collected 117 points (51+66) and 324 penalty minutes in 253 games. The 6-foot-4, 206-pound forward was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
