Rochester Americans News Release

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will host Irish Night presented by Molson in honor of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow (Friday, March 15) when the Amerks play the Albany Devils at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. Any fan that wears green to the game will be able to purchase a ticket at the Box Office for just $15.

The Irish Night festivities begin with an Amerks Happy Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar, where fans ages 21 and over can enjoy Killian's Irish Red and Molson drafts for just $2. There will also be live music from the band "1916" during Happy Hour and the first intermission. Formed as an acoustic pub act in 2006, the band 1916 has "transformed into the hardest hitting Irish Rock band this side of Dublin!"

In addition, St. Patrick's Day-themed "Mystery Pucks," signed by various Amerks players, will be on sale in the concourse starting when gates open at 6:00 p.m. There will also be a Photobooth on the main concourse where fans can get their pictures taken. Other Irish festivities include Irish Dancers, bagpipers and the Irish Children's Program, which will be selling green carnations to raise funds, and Irish music throughout the game.

Friday's game will be the last chance to catch the Amerks on home ice until Wednesday, March 27, when the Amerks return from a season-long five-game road trip to host the Syracuse Crunch at 7:05 p.m.
