Amerks' Homestand Continues with Three More Games This Week

The Rochester Americans will continue their four-game homestand this week with games on Wednesday, Feb. 19 versus the Iowa Wild; Friday, Feb. 21 versus the San Antonio Rampage; and Saturday, Feb. 22 versus the Hamilton Bulldogs. All three games begin at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

Wednesday's game is a 2-for-1 special as the Iowa Wild make their first-ever appearance in Rochester. Fans can visit www.amerks.com/bogo to purchase one regular-priced ticket and receive a second ticket of equal value for free.

Friday night is Hockey Night in Rochester when the San Antonio Rampage make their only visit of the season to The Blue Cross Arena. The Amerks are holding Hometown Heroes Day on Saturday. The Amerks are honoring all first responders such as police officers, fire fighters, and emergency medical technicians, as well as military members, teachers and employees of non-profit organizations. Prior to the Amerks-Bulldogs game, the Rochester Police Department will face-off with a team from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office in an exhibition hockey game starting at 4:00 p.m., with members of the Amerks Alumni also participating in the game.

The Amerks are offering all Hometown Heroes a complimentary ticket to their game against the Bulldogs. The Amerks will host their pregame Happy Hour on both Friday and Saturday this week. Musician Dave McGrath will perform live during Friday's Happy Hour, while Jim Lane will provide the music on Saturday.
