
Amerks Back-To-Back Weekend Highlighted by Visit from Sabres Hall of Famer

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will host the North Division rival Toronto Marlies on Friday night at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:35 p.m. in the first Seneca Casinos Legends Night of the season. Buffalo Sabres Hall of Famer Danny Gare will be on hand to sign autographs in the Upper Atrium from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.Season Ticket Holders will be able to access the Upper Atrium starting at 6:15 p.m.
Friday's pre-game festivities also include an Amerks Happy Hour from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar, where fans ages 21 and over can enjoy Molson and Coors Light drafts for just $2. In addition, any fan that presents a Seneca Casinos Players Card at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office can purchase a ticket to the game for just $10. College students with a valid school ID can purchase a ticket at the Box Office for just $10.
The Amerks enter play this weekend trailing only the Marlies for first place in the North Division. Rochester is 7-3-0 in its last 10 home games and 5-2-1-2 in its last 10 games overall.
On Saturday, the Amerks host the division rival Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:35 p.m. The Distillery is sponsoring a "Ghost Wing Eating Contest" in the old Zamboni entrance during the second intermission. The contestant that eats the most chicken wings soaked in The Distillery's signature "Ghost" hot sauce will win a Distillery prize pack. Fans can sign up to participate in the contest at the podium in the Upper Atrium or at the Amerks Guest Services Booth prior to the second period.
Any fan that presents a dining receipt from The Distillery at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office prior to the game can purchase a ticket for $12. Fans wearing an Amerks or Sabres jersey can also purchase a $12 ticket at the Box Office as part of the "Hockey Night in Rochester" promotion.
