Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - General Manager Bob Tory, announced this morning the addition of 2004-born goaltender, Ronin Geraghty, to the Club's protection list.
Geraghty played for the West Vancouver Academy Warriors and led all CSSHL Bantam Prep goaltenders with 13 wins (13-4-1 W-L-T) and an impressive 2.87 goals against average in the regular season. He followed that up with a 2-0-1 record at the CSSHL Championships lowering his GAA to 1.95 with a .949 save percentage.
Tory says, "After assessing the Bantam Draft a day earlier we realized there was a very good goaltending prospect available and coupled with the fact we didn't take a goalie, we believe this is a great fit for both athlete and our organization. Ronin is an athletic, mature and poised goaltender whose numbers in the CSSHL Championships prove he also has Big Game, Big Performance capability"
Geraghty and the other 9 players selected in Thursday's WHL Bantam Draft will be participating at training camp in late August. A reminder Ams' Season Tickets for the 2019-20 season are now on sale.
