
Americans Announce Full 2022-23 Regular Season Schedule

KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League (WHL), announced their full 2022-23 regular season schedule today.
All 22 WHL Clubs will play a full 68-game schedule, beginning Friday, September 23, 2022, and concluding on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
The Americans will open their season on the road with a pair of games against the Cougars in Prince George on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24. The following weekend Tri-City will travel to Everett on Friday, September 30 and Portland on Saturday, October 1 before returning to Kennewick to open the home portion of their schedule.
As announced previously, the Americans Home Opener will take place Saturday, October 8 against the reigning WHL Champion Edmonton Oil Kings.
For the first time since 2019-20, the WHL regular season schedule includes interconference play.
Tri-City will host all six Central Division teams at the Toyota Center. Fans can look forward to watching the Americans face the Edmonton Oil Kings (October 8), Medicine Hat Tigers (October 12), Calgary Hitmen (November 18), Lethbridge Hurricanes (December 2), Swift Current Broncos (February 1) and Red Deer Rebels (February 11) throughout the year.
The Americans road trip through the East Division begins Saturday, October 29 against the Moose Jaw Warriors, and continues with games against the Regina Pats (October 30), Prince Albert Raiders (November 1), Saskatoon Blades (November 2) and Brandon Wheat Kings (November 4), before concluding against the Winnipeg ICE (November 5).
Tri-City has a mixed schedule of games against U.S. Division opponents including 12 games against the Spokane Chiefs, nine against the Everett Silvertips, eight against the Portland Winterhawks, and seven against the Seattle Thunderbirds.
Tri-City's final game before the annual Christmas Break takes place on Saturday, December 17 in Victoria, before the Americans return to action on Tuesday, December 27 when they host the Everett Silvertips.
Tri-City will conclude the 2022-23 regular season on March 25 with a road game against the Spokane Chiefs.
All of Tri-City's Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday home games will start at 7:05 PM. All Saturday games at the Toyota Center will feature an earlier 6:05 PM puck drop. The two Sunday home games on the schedule (November 27 vs Seattle, March 19 vs Vancouver) will have a 4:05 puck drop.

Single game tickets will go on sale August 8 exclusively on Ticketmaster.com. They will be available at the Toyota Center Box Office beginning August 22.
