Americans Announce 2009 Conference Semi-Final Playoff Dates

KENNEWICK, WA - After defeating the Everett Silvertips 4 games to 1 in their first round playoff series, the Tri-City Americans are pleased to announce their Conference Semi-Final schedule for the 2009 WHL Playoffs.

Tri-City will match-up with the B.C. Division's Kelowna Rockets in the second round, best-of-seven series. Game 1 will be played at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, on Friday, April 3rd. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Fans are encouraged to check the Americans' website, www.AmsHockey.com, in the coming days for further playoff information.

Game 2: Sat., Apr. 4, Kelowna Rockets at Tri-City Americans

Game 3: Tues., Apr. 7, Tri-City Americans at Kelowna Rockets

Game 4: Wed., Apr. 8, Tri-City Americans at Kelowna Rockets

Game 5: Fri., Apr. 10, Kelowna Rockets at Tri-City Americans *If necessary

Game 6: Sun., Apr. 12, Tri-City Americans at Kelowna Rockets *If necessary

Game 7: Tues., Apr. 14, Kelowna Rockets at Tri-City Americans *If necessary

Single game tickets for the Conference Semi-Finals are set to go on sale at the Toyota Center box office starting on Monday, March 30 at 10:00 AM along with all Ticketmaster outlets. Visit Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com. Prices for single game tickets are as follows:

- Adults (ages 18-61) - $20.00

- Seniors (ages 62+) - $15.00

- Students (ages 10-17) - $12.00

- Youth (ages 3-9) - $9.00

Tri-City Americans 2009-10 season ticket plans are now available. Season ticket plans can be purchased by using several, convenient monthly payment schedules after a one-time service charge.
