St. Joe RF Wil Quintana went 3-for-6 with a homerun, his 8th of the year, and three RBI to lead the Blacksnakes past Shreveport 9-3. SS Jimmy Mojica added two hits and three RBI of his own for St. Joe. Starting pitcher Donovan Graves went seven innings and surrendered just three runs to pick up the victory, improving his record to 3-2 on the season. Shreveport SS Enohel Polanco went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Sports in the losing effort.

3B Terence Green and RF Carlos Adolfo combined for three hits and both of the Cats two RBI to carry Fort Worth past Pensacola 2-1. Starting pitcher Cory Walters improved to 4-3 on the season, allowing just one run on four hits over 8 1/3 innings while striking out nine. Relief pitcher Steven C. Wilkerson tallied his fourth save of the year. Pelicans starting pitcher Clark Girardeau was impressive despite taking the loss. Girardeau went eight innings and gave up only two runs on eight hits. DH Larry Bethea went 1-for-4 with an RBI to lead Pensacola at the plate.
